Biography
Until the age of twenty, Li spent his life with his tight-knit family. With three mothers and six siblings, there was never a boring day to be had. But in traditional Keeper fashion, it soon came time for Li to leave the family and live a wanderer's life.

Tales of Ul'dah drew the man towards Thanalan, eager for a life of freedom and recognition. He took up pugilism, dreaming of fame in the Bloodsands one punch and kick at a time. With a natural talent for showmanship and a gimmick of entering some matches blindfolded, Li quickly attracted the attention of the Coliseum's promoters.

...Ten years later, Li finds his career at a standstill. Too proud to submit to the well-established system of fight fixing, he finds himself booked for fewer and fewer fights. As the Bloodsands slowly trades him out for younger, more cooperative starlets, he's left with the question of what to do next.

Whether it's helping prepare large meals, moving furniture or teaching inappropriate clients a lesson, he's always ready to lend a hand to women in need. (The same cannot be said for men, however.)✦ His auditory sensitivity makes life in the loud, crowded hustle and bustle of the city difficult. Frequently overwhelmed by the noise, he wears custom made earplugs that filter sound, and prefers to be out and about at night.✦ His favorite food is cured orobon liver, and he'll jump at any chance to go outside the city for a good hunt and cookout.✦ Li returns to the Black Shroud a few times a year for the holidays, but otherwise has no desire to return full time. He's come to enjoy existing freely in Ul'dah with no anti-Keeper sentiment or law enforcement breathing down his neck for hunting responsibly, and the idea of returning to a life beneath the thumb of the Elementals and their enforcers is unthinkable.✦ He has an unhealthy obsession with what it means to be a "proper" Keeper man, though he considers his attitude perfectly normal. Because of this, he declines to settle down and raise a family- to him, that's a privilege reserved exclusively for Keeper women.

Hello, I'm Dean. (he/him)I'm a guy in his thirties who cannot shut up about his OCs, and who doesn't understand graphic design. I'm trying to get good at RP again, so please bear with me if what I'm cooking is rather bland.I plan to mainly body double using my content main, Koh'sae Jakkya. They're identical twins, which makes this an easy swap. For personal reasons, I am not trading the twins' names.❖OOC Info about Li's toxic masculinity:It's both heavily internalized and opt-in; that said, I will not bring that to RP unless given explicit consent by my RP partners. It's mostly designed to harm himself as an avenue to direct character growth, and is a result of my interpretation of Keeper of the Moon culture.(I believe everyone is free to write their own interpretation of the lore because no two families are alike, and I'm not really into gatekeeping lore. That's just weird.)This is exacerbated by Li having an identical twin brother. (Koh'sae Jakkya, my beloved child. Retired from RP but not forgotten.) It made him feel extra expendable, and pushed him into being an exceptional son to compete for attention. His brother gave up trying to perform early on, leading Li to think his plan to be the better of Koh Jakkya's two sons had succeeded.(He was raised by a lesbian polycule. His two older brothers are from different moms.)Oh, also- I will not have Li flirt with characters with anything past a casual compliment or a wink, unless given explicit OOC permission. I'm also not interested in romance RP, despite being primarily a romance writer. It's a mystery why this is.
